It's a big Harley-Davidson weekend in Italy's capital Rome as the celebrations of the Milwaukee manufacturer's 110th anniversary are gathering countless riders. And since H-D could not let Ducati be the only bikes in Pope Francis' garage, they presented him with two machines... and a leather jacket, handed by Mark-Hans Richer, Harley-Davidson's senior vice-president.
Eye for an eye, such a kind deed could not be left unrewarded, so the Pope agreed to bless the 1400 Harleys gathered in the San Pietro Square in Vatican. No word on which H-D models reached the Pontiff's garage, but we're delving into this.

The Pope also received on of David Uhl's "Chance Encounter" paintings, but he did not test any of the bikes or the jacket. We're somehow waiting to see some of the blessed bikes up for sale on eBay soon.

We're also wondering how much is the "blessed option" going to affect the price. Since we don't have any knowledge of an official deed to prove the blessing, we guess it's going to be hard to prove it to the holy bike enthusiasts. Is blessing considered tuning, by the way?
