The first TX2K event took place in 1999 and was in fact a Toyota Supra-celebrating gathering as it was named “The Supra Nationals”. The show escalated a lot since then and from a gathering of a couple dozen Supras is now home for hundreds of highly modified cars boasting over 800 hp at the wheels.
Still, the good ol' Supra is commonly seen at these events and this year, the most powerful one that had a run on the dyno there was a 1,300 whp silver one which got a nice intro video made by Real Street Performance.

This little demon here is long away from a BPU and its 2JZ got enhanced by a custom Gato Performance manifold, Manley Performance pistons and rods, direct port Nitrous Express system, Manley valves and springs, GSC camshafts, a Precision turbo and more. All the power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a Driveshaft Shop 9-inch IRS conversion diff and a carbon fiver drive shaft.

Exterior has been left pretty much stock and sleek. There's only a front lip spoiler attached and a set of performance tires and rims. Check it out in the video bellow having some dyno runs and stay tuned for more.
