The Mercedes-AMG F1 W05 Sounds Mean as Hell

The good feelings obviously spawn from the fact that the all-new F1 W05 single-seater is arguably the best-looking car in the 2014 Formula 1 season, its designers refusing to fit it with the abominable dildo finger nose found on most of its competitors.
After the rather normal-looking nose took a huge weight of everyone's shoulders, Lewis Hamilton's crash courtesy of a front wing failure at Jerez earlier made everyone think about the reliability of the new W05 and how it will stack up against the currently trouble free Red Bulls.

Still, neither of the two pieces of information above provided an answer to another highly-asked question in recent months: does the car sound like an industrial vacuum cleaner on the track, just like its engine sounded on the test bench?

The answer, our friends, lies in the two short videos bellow, one of which was taken by none other than Chris Harris, who was at Jerez for the first day of Formula 1 testing in 2014. On a personal note: we absolutely love it, especially the bit when it starts out from the paddock. What says you?
