The Lorinser Mercedes GLK Twist

We must admit, when we laid our eyes on these photos we couldn't help not be surpised. In a pleasant way, that is. The guys over at Sport Service Lorinser managed to prove that you can make something look better without resorting to complicated designs, strange choices of material or odd vehicle mixtures.

The kit they have prepared for the GLK keeps it simple. "Robust, sporty and classy" as they call it, the Lorinser body kit (aesthetics was the only thing they tampered with) is comprised of all the element you see in other tuned vehicles: spoiler, bumper, 3D structures invoking bull bars, side sills and so on.

The main difference is that the new add-ons don't stand out in any way, but they keep in line with the car's design cues. We saw something similar yesterday, on the Avus Performance tuned Mercedes Benz C63 AMG.

"The rear view in particular exudes pure energy," Lorinser says. "With it the Lorinser designers have succeeded in making the wedge-shaped knick in the lid of the boot clearly visible again with their spoiler bumper, so that the styling looks especially muscular."

Otherwise, there nothing to say about it. As we told, the German tuner's main focus was to keep it simple. Unfortunately, they keep it so simple that they did not provide any prices for their "Swabian body kit".

We saw something as simple, yet effective yesterday, on the Avus Performance tuned Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. Even if they took on the engine and upgraded it, Avus has also keep the original design virtually unaltered, apart from some black paint here and there.
