The BMW 1M Coupe has unfortunetely been limited to a production of just 6,331 desirable examples. The M3 follow-up car received great critical acclaim over time and is one of the most exclusive cars BMW ever made.
6,330 1M Coupes have been delivered until recently, with the 6,331st car being delivered on February 11, 2013 to a happy BMW dealership owner according to the BMW Welt/Museum FB page. Dietmar Götzmann (left) is the general manager partner of Uwe Ratzel GmbH & Co. KG (BMW Zentrum/dealership).
It seems like Götzmann didn't even pay for his car. The 1M was a reward from BMW for an excellent annual result recorded by the dealership which owned by Dieter.
The 1er will not be driven by the Uwe Holtzen owner too soon neither. The BMW Welt Museum says that the car will be going through a transformation process in order to be completely unique.
