Born in 1995, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter light commercial vehicle doesn’t look like a typical model from the three-pointed star’s range, but it has already achieved legendary status among minivan fans. Naturally, there were all sorts of special models that celebrated its 25th anniversary.
One of them comes from Poland and is the custom work of a company called Kegger. It specializes in creating tow trucks from various brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Fiat, or Iveco. Normally, we’d refrain from showcasing one of its products because of its niche status, but this time around, its latest special edition was too enticing not to pass on.

Although the Sprinter celebrated a quarter of a century of existence last year, it’s never too late to receive another gift, right? So, we could say this is a belated present, but the truth is the Kegger Sprinter Petronas Edition is so much more.

After all, it comes sporting proud products from the Mercedes-AMG family in the photo gallery and the videos embedded below. Besides, the Formula One-inspired livery and the aerodynamic enhancements certainly bode well with anyone looking to make sure their prized possessions reach the racetrack intact. Naturally, no one would like to see stone chips on the front fascia of their Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series (or perhaps a classic 300 SL).

Of course, because we’re dealing with a special edition, there’s collector status for this work truck as well, and Kegger has announced just 25 units will become available for sale. We don’t have an exact quotation, but we can all be sure it won’t be cheap. After all, the Kegger tow truck is not only thoroughly modified on the outside, but it also features a deeply customized and quite luxurious cabin.

Inside, the driver will find a combination of leather and Alcantara for the upholstery, as well as a professional sound system. By the way, if we are to trust our German colleagues from Auto Motor und Sport, this very special tow truck goes for at least €125k ($147k at the current exchange rates) without taxes and comes equipped with the 190-hp 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel of the 319 CDI version.
