Opel has high expectations for its Cascada open-top model and so the company constantly brings the vehicle into our attention. The carmaker's latest effort of this kind sees Opel offering us a clip that shows a brief history of its convertibles.
The video starts with some footage that shows us the 1933 Moonlight Roadster, subsequently moving on to the Olympia, which was actually a landaulet. The golden age part of the clip is completed with the Admiral.
We are then taken to 1976, via the Kadett C Aero, which came with a removable roof panel and a foldable rear window. This is followed by the Kadett E Cabrio and the Astra F cabrio. From this part of the clip we're starting to see models which one can still meet on the road nowadays.
The Speedster performance model follows and then it's time for the Astra to take over again, with the Astra G Convertible. Next up, we have the second-generation Tigra and the go-fast GT. After this it's back to the Astra again, for the H Convertible.
Of course, the clip ends with the Cascada, which is being driven away into the sunset.
