As far as we can tell, the GRMN Sports FR Platinum is the closest thing you can get if you really want a 2014 Toyota Supra and can’t wait until the automaker will come with an official one.
Gazoo Racing recently unveiled this beauty at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon, where it made quite a show with its looks and performance.
Based on the Toyota GT 86/Scion FR-S, the GRMN Sports FR comes with entirely new head and taillights, a ventilated hood, new bumpers and side skirts as well as a big fixed wing at the back, all making the coupe look like some sort of a Supra reincarnation for 2014.
Under the hood, the 2-liter flat-four engine received many performance parts, including a turbocharger and a supercharger, ramping up the power from 200 to 330 hp and 431 Nm of torque, all sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and a mechanical limited slip differential.
The interior was fitted with a full rollcage, sport bucket seats, racing steering wheel and more. Check it out in this new video bellow.
