Some people, when they reach a certain age, and especially after retirement, often fall into depression, instead of enjoying the free time at their disposal. This elderly woman (91 years-old, to be precise) puts all knitting grandmas to shame, by driving a Subaru Impreza WRX around a rallycross course, with a fair bit of zest.
Furthermore, she genuinely likes it and calls it ‘exciting’, at the end of the run. As comedian George Carlin talked in great detail about the benefits of old age, this woman is living one of them, as she has time to do whatever she pleases at her own pace.
We hope more elderly people see this video and it inspires them, because all we need is a bunch of grouchy pensioners, who, instead of endlessly talking about politics (which has become irrelevant nowadays, anyway), should thrash rally cars around on dirt roads and have a much better time!
