With less than a month until its sale officially starts, the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG just got its first commercial, preparing future customers for what they are about to experience.
Naturally - being the first - the ad isn't too detailed in terms of specs and performance figures, and it revolves around the “Freedom is catching” tag line, which will apparently be used on the official campaign for the model.
The fourth member of the highly-successful MFA (Modular Front Architecture) platform, the GLA 45 AMG is sporting the same drive train found underneath the A 45 and the CLA 45 AMG.
In other words, we are talking about the most powerful four-cylinder engine currently in production, which delivers no less than 360 hp and 450 Nm (332 lb ft) of torque from a displacement of just two liters.
Combined with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive, the little GLA 45 AMG can accelerate from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds, while its top speed is electronically-limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
