The Game Rides Polaris Slingshot Over the Weekend: Not Safe!

So he just got himself a brand new Panamera GTS, but rapper The Game would rather hit the streets in a three-wheeled motorcycle than pushing the pedal of that beautiful sportscar. That wouldn’t even be that bad if it weren’t for Polaris’ recent announcement, which claims that the new Slingshot is in fact facing some serious manufacturing problems.

As we previously reported, The Game was gifted with a brand new Porsche Panamera GTS for his 35th anniversary from his friends. The luxury sportscar was sent straight to JC Customz in California for the proper care. The guys over at the tuning shop took it through a new paint job, had its interior done and added some Asanti wheels. But no, the two-time Grammy Award winner had to stay cool and leave this one at home.

The brand new red Polaris trike seems to be a gift from one of his friends The Game has been working with to put up the 10th Anniversary show for his first studio album "The Documentary". The debut mixtape was released in 2005 and was basically what made the west coast rapper famous, so it's no wonder he's celebrating.

We have no problem with the 35-year old artist diversifying his road fleet, but we’d really like if somebody would let him know that the three-wheeler might be having some serious mechanical problems. As we previously mentioned, it looks like Polaris found two major issues with the Slingshot, one of which is a very serious one, as it involves the steering system. We’re talking about a major threat to the occupants of the trike.

Not safe!

It would seem that some of the trikes have been assembled with defective ball bearings which may fail. In other words, in case one or more bearings located in the steering rack breaks down, they would cause the loss of steering control, dramatically increasing the risk of a crash, personal injury or property damage.

So, if any of you guys now anybody that bought one, please spread the word! Meanwhile, we can only hope The Game finds out an nobody gets injured.
