The G 63 AMG 6x6 is in Full Production Swing

Unbeknownst to us, Mercedes-Benz has built quite a good deal of the bonkers G 63 AMG 6x6 model until now and it's not yet stopping, apparently.

Initial reports were suggesting that only 30 models will be built, with the first units to be delivered in January 2014, but a visit to the G-Class factory in Graz taken by the peeps at MB Passion would suggest otherwise.

According tot the German blog that's passionate about all things Mercedes-Benz, Magna Steyr has assembled no less than 35 units of the G 63 AMG 6x6 model so far and from their visit it didn't seem as the production was ended.

As you know, the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 is most definitely the craziest production G-Class in the car's 34 year history – for the civilian model, that is.

It has no less than five locking differentials, six-wheel drive, 37-inch off-road tires, portal axles and a 460 mm (1.5 feet) ground clearance.

Combined with the 544 hp (536 bhp) and 760 Nm (560 lb ft) of torque, the places where this six-wheeled beast can go on the planet are almost unlimited as long as the surface allows it.
