Remember the preview we showed you a while back of five BMW M235i cars drifting synchronously in a roundabout? Well, the final video is here and it’s absolutely awesome, as we expected it would be.
BMW took some of the best drifters in the world and got them all inside a Melbourne Red M235i. Then, they asked the guys to show them what they are capable of with the new cars. The video posted below is what resulted from this endeavor.
The guys behind the wheel are Rhys Miller, Rich Rutherford, Samuel Hubinette, Conrad Grunewald and Daijiro Yoshihara. Their cars were also slightly modified to be able to do all those drifts simultaneously.
Don’t think huge changes, though. The DSC was completely turned off and the handbrakes and gearshift levers were modified to allow for easier control of the cars. That was more than enough.
Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, the video tells the story of a couple of outlaws showing the audience what they’re capable of with the help of one super hot female cop that helps them pull off these stunts, by closing the road.
We won’t get into any more details but we’ll let you enjoy the video. We also added a behind the scenes look at how the entire thing was shot. Hopefully, you don’t mind!
