We know that most politicians aren't allowed to do something as dangerous or proletarian as driving. But this story is more about turning Donald Trump or Angela Merkel into characters of the next Cars animated movie.
The guys at Carwow knocked it out of the part with their 10 latest renderings. They put together mashups between the faces of politicians, world leaders, and one dictator, mixed with the cars they resemble or can be connected to.

The first is Donald Trump mixed with a Ford F-150. This guy isn't huge on trucks, preferring to travel via limo and gold-plated private jet. However, he wants to build a border with Mexico and is all for the right to own badass guns. So yeah, we've got to make him into a truck!

Why is Tony Blair manufactured from an MG ZT 260? That thing was horribly unreliable, badly made and gave Britain a bad reputation. Wait... now I get it. Theresa May as a soft pink MINI with a cat on top makes perfect sense to me, as does Boris Johnson as a Morgan 3-Wheele stuck on a wire.

If Trump is a gas guzzler, Hilary Clinton's face and hair have been added to a Tesla Model 3. Frankly, she's nowhere near cool enough for that. Clinton would be a Prius - the official car of smug liberals with political bumper stickers. Plus, Tesla is a young brand for people who know how emails work.

By contrast, we think Vladimir Putin is way cooler than the Lada Niva. But that was actually the point of the rendering. Putin is highly respected in many parts of Russia, but criticized in other countries, just like the Lada 4x4.

Barack Obama as a Mustang - now that's just cool, but it needs to be the 2.3-liter EcoBoost, thus symbolizing change. Pretty soon, he'll retire, and we can't wait to see what he does with his free time.

As for the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, making him into the Ural 4320 MLRS mobile rocket launcher doesn't work. He's messed with so many things that the only car he deserves to embody is the one for clowns.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
