The Crew 2 players will be getting their seasonal dose of new content today, as Ubisoft announced Season 3 Episode 2 will debut on September 8 on the following platforms: PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Google Stadia.
The highlight of the update is the new take on the time-attack mode of the Season, as well as new cars and a new Motorpass. So, Season 3 Episode 2 brings the U.S. Speed Tour West, which is the opposite of the last Episode’s time events that allow players to race each other in the Eastern part of the United States.
This time around, The Crew 2 players will be racing and rallying around the landscapes of the western part of the U.S. Starting September 8, the US Speed Tour West will be available for free to all The Crew 2 players on all platforms.
Each week, players will find a pre-existing event picked from a list of community-favorite races modified to be played as Speed Tour time-attack race. The Episode 2 packs 16 events – 8 new events and 8 special and repackaged races, which will be made available gradually (two events will be unlocked every week until the end of the Season).
Besides the cars added to the Motorpass, the new Episode released today will feature new vehicles, including some which will be available for purchase on September 8: Mazda MX-5 NA (Street Race), Chevrolet Corvette C3 (Touring Car), and Mazda MX-5 NA Spearhog Edition (Rally Raid). These cars will be available for purchase in bucks or Crew Credits.
Those buying the new Motorpass will be getting new Live Summits such as the Wild Escape Live Summit and the first Premium Live Summit that will feature the Volkswagen Beetle Racing Crew Edition (Rally Raid) as a platinum reward.
Keep in mind that only a part of the Episode will be available on September 8, but content drops, and themed weeks will add to the experience in the next two months.
