The Copenhagen Wheel is as cool as Mac computers are, in a way: it brings all the convenience of electric pedaling assistance to your bike, seamlessly integrated with WiFi communication, sleek design and ease of use in one single package. Superpedestrian is now taking pre-orders for the Copenhagen Wheel and the first 1,000 customers also get a nifty discount.
The wheel is said to make it to the customers in spring 2014, for an estimated price of $799 (€582). However, the first 1,000 customers will get a special price that's $100 (€73) lower,a s a token of gratitude for supporting the project.

Designed with a special hub which integrates the motor, battery, wireless communicator and other bits, the Copenhagen Wheel shows a slender profile which also looks great. It will help riders effortlessly reach speeds up to 20 mph (32 km/h) and can assist them for up to 31 miles (50 km).

Four hours are needed to recharge the 48V batteries, and regenerative braking (downhill and back-pedal) also add some more juice into them. Smartphone integration with Android and Apple devices is ensured with Bluetooh 4.0 communication.
