Blueprints of the Batmobile they used in the Batman Returns movie can be found on the Internet. There’s an Australian that recreated it precisely to its initial design, and some Batman museums have it too. We feel it’s the hero car that fits best to the caped crusader’s needs. Apparently, the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer believes that one of their models fits best with the car.
In case you’re not familiar with the horology industry, we’ll mention that MB&F is one of the companies that designs specific models appreciated and recognized worldwide for their innovative shapes. The Horological Machine No.4 (HM4) Thunderbolt in question is one of our favorites. It features two perpendicular dials respectively indicating hours/minutes and power reserve. What stands out is its futuristic case resembling two jet turbine pods.

Why are we talking about this timepiece? Because the Swiss watchmakers have just shared an image with one of their customers who owns both this model and the Batmobile from the Burton movies.

Here’s what they quoted next to the picture: “Today we are proud to announce our new partnership with... Batman. More seriously, our clients are amazing - they’re as fiercely independent-minded as we are! Just received this wrist shot from a client who simply had to have the HM4 Final Edition (by the way, his Batmobile is 100% street legal)”

There are two things we want to mention here. First, the marketing idea is quite impressive, considering what luxury goods makers regularly use to promote their products. Second, we have to admit the exclusive timepiece perfectly matches the car.

These considered we’d also like to mention that, for some reason, this pic totally tickled our eagerness to drive. Do you folks know anybody who owns a Batmobile?
