Back in 1999, when the E53 X5 was launched, BMW wrote yet another piece of history. Even though most people said that the SUV segment is not for the Bavarian company, 14 years later they were proved wrong.
Nowadays, the X Series is amongst the best selling class in the BMW line-up and things are looking even brighter with the new X5 coming out. Actually, thank's to BMW's daring attitude we now have the luxury SUV segment that includes the Mercedes-Benz ML and the Audi Q7 and all their variations.
The propeller-badged company just released a brand new video with the new X5 allowing the BMW community to witness it as it is supposed to be enjoyed, in motion. It showcases some of the highlights of the new model and even Head Designer Karim Habib jumped in to explain some of the styling cues of the new SAV.
