After a lot of talk and discussions about BMW’s new privateer racing car, the M235i Racing is finally, officially here, launched with a heck of a video by the Munich-based company, as we’ve been getting used to lately.
The M235i Racing is the Bavarian option for private racing teams that want to enter competitions such as the VLN endurance championship of the 24-hour race of Nurburgring, being developed especially for this purpose.
Compared to the ‘standard’ BMW M235i, the Racing model has more power (333 HP) and a couple of add-ons to make it safe for proper race tracks, such as a mechanical limited-slip differential, FIA-certified safety cell, safety tank and M Performance front and rear spoilers.
The best thing about the new car is that it’s one of the cheapest options out there for its purpose. Priced at only 59,500.00 Euros (excl. VAT) you’d be hard pressed to find a better deal.
