It appears that Europe is organizing its own version of the Gumball Rally this year, with the event being called The Autobahn Tour. This is basically an organized manner of getting to spend quality motoring time in some of the best driving roads the Old Continent has to offer, with wild parties in between the various driving sessions.
Participants must show up in (at least) a sportscar and they’ll be in for a ten-day event. It all kicks off in Amsterdam with a party, with a drive to the Nurburgring set to follow. A track day on the Nordschleife comes next, while the following day brings Autobahn runs with, of course, no speed limits.

Subsequently, the convoy will travel to the Italian Alps, while one day later they’ll take on the French Riviera. Afterwords, the machines will be offered a Monza track day, with the group set to hand around Monaco and Cannes for a while.

There will be five editions of the Autobahn Tour this year, with the schedule covering the May - September time frame - each Tour includes ten days of action. One of these will even include a trip to the Monaco Grand Prix.

The price for all the fun is EUR 7,000 (US $ 9,650), including a two-people entry, five-star hotel accommodation, all track time expenses and special dinner, as well as parties (the costs are only partially covered here). Of course, you’ll also have to take your vehicle to Amsterdam and back from the French Riviera once the Tour is done, but the organizers have a financial plan for that. You can find out more details on The Autobahn Tour website.

And speaking of the Gumball 3000, which we used as a reference thanks to its popularity, this overlaps with The Autobahn Tour - the 2014 Gumball Route sees the participants start in the US and reach Europe on June 7th.
