The Koenigsegg Chronicles, now there's something you don't get to see every day. Presented by Mr. JWW via his Youtube channel, the series gives us an in-depth look at some of the most amazing Koenigseggs ever built. Each episode includes a detailed walkthrough of every car and then a spirited drive around a local racetrack. What more can you ask for?
The series started off about a month ago, with the first car on display being the Agera R. The slightly older CCX was up next, and right now we're looking at the detailed review of the One:1, which, thanks to its 1-to-1 power to weight ratio and subsequently speaking a horsepower output of 1 megawatt (1,341 hp), has been dubbed the world's first megacar.

The power unit is similar to those used in the Agera variants, but as Koenigsegg wanted to give the One:1 a special touch, and only six of these cars were ever built, alongside the vehicle which was on display at the Geneva Motor Show when it was launched in 2014. If you're wondering about torque figures, you'll be stunned to know that 1,011 lb-ft (1,371 Nm) is available at 6,000 rpm.

If you thought the Agera R was a fast car, the One:1 is even faster. It can hit 200 mph (320 kph) from a standstill in 14.328 seconds. To get from 0 to 200 mph (320 kph) and back to 0 again, the One:1 only requires 20.71 seconds. These are just two of the six records the One:1 managed to achieve during a test session in June of 2015. But we'll leave it to Mr. JWW to showcase some of the intricate developments of this vehicle, most of which seem way ahead of our time.

Going through the specs of the vehicle as he drives it on track, Mr. JWW describes the experience as simply "absolutely, face bendingly ridiculous, it's absolutely savage". Judging by the sound coming from the engine bay, and by his facial expressions, it's definitely clear that this car is not for the faint-hearted, but we would still have a go in one should we ever be given the opportunity to do so.

Although the track where the test is performed is no GP venue, this car has already proven itself at tracks like Spa Francorchamps, where it managed to perform a lap in just 2 minutes and 32 seconds, after being red-flagged due to over the limit db levels. After about 10 minutes of eardrum-shattering driving, Mr. JWW finally gets out of the vehicle and back into his garage, where the Koenigsegg scheduled for the next episode is already waiting for its turn.
