The final layout of the 2016 Motocross Grand Prix (MXGP) was made public, and it consists of 19 rounds, with four new venues added to the list.
Maybe "final" is not exactly the best choice for an attribute, as there are still some locations tagged TBC (to be confirmed) and one that still has to be assigned. Anyway, it looks like this is pretty much what MX fans will be able to enjoy this year, with no major modifications expected.
The new rounds are located in Thailand, Malaysia, Switzerland, and the US. The championship ends in Italy with the usual Motocross of Nations event at Maggiora.
Two rounds are still awaiting for official confirmation. The first of the new venues, Suphan Buri, in Thailand, and the Belgian GP at Lommel are listed as TBC, while the May 29 event is yet to be assigned.
