There’s an old saying that claims you shouldn’t fix something if it’s not broken and with the facelift for the BMW 6 Series range the Munich-based company might’ve followed this old advice. The truth of the matter is, you’ll have to work pretty hard to see the differences on what the Germans are calling ‘the new 6 Series’.
Even so, we’re here to tell you where to look at and what to look for. First of all, the headlights received a major overhaul. Not only they are now showing a different design towards the lower side of their bodies but they also come with LED lights as standard from now on.
Second, you’ll have to look at the bumpers, especially their air intakes. Their design has changed as well now sporting a ... different look? We’re not sure that it’s an improvement or if they are more aggressive now. They are definitely different, though.
Last, but not least, you have to check out the range of Individual choices, and the standard options you get. Starting with 2015 the 6 Series models fitted with petrol plants will get the sport exhaust for free. Think of it as BMW’s way of admitting they don’t sound as they should.
To top it all off, there are two new design worlds included, similar to the ones found on the new X5. Called Design Pure Experience and Design Pure Excellence, they aim to please. The first one focuses on a sporty look while the latter is bringing more style and class to the table. Read all about it here. After that, check out the introductory film for the range, posted below.
