The guys from XCAR are slowly but surely growing to be, quite possibly, the next big auto show in the UK. Their videos are both entertaining and informative. Every here and there, they’re also funny, like the one posted below.
They set off to test the hardtop MINI John Cooper Works. Their endeavor carried them from Lisbon to London over a short, 24 hour, period, covering over 2,000 km (1,300 miles).
At first, you might think that taking a JCW model for such a long trip is a bad idea, you know... because of the harsh suspension and all... but in the end, the little hatch proved to be a more than comfortable car.
Sure, the seats are all that great and the drone you hear inside the car could drive you mad but these are problems that can be solved, one way or another. Check out their summarized trip in the video below. Be warned though, there’s plenty of English humor in there...
