Tessoart Ducati 1199 Superleggera Tricolore Nero Looks Better than the Factory One

Here we go, another take on the Ducati 1199 Superleggera, but this time we're not dealing with a remake of the bike, but with an ultra-sweet new livery: the Tricolore Nero from Tessoart.

As amazing as the Ducati 1199 Superleggera is on the tech side with all its fancy magnesium and carbon fiber, we here believe that the livery for such and exclusive bike could have been a tad more daring.

On one hand, the current red and white paint of the Superleggera harks back to the older race winners and the iconic Ducati Corse machine, and that's not bad at all. However, the Tessoart approach adds a much bolder livery, in sober, commanding black and with the classic Italian flag accents.

Tessoart's only mention in the creative brief was that the new design of the Nero must preserve as much as possible from the OEM looks. The result is by all means a nice one, even though some might find it too darkened.

And the Ducati purists will surely hate it, Italian flag or not. I like it much better than the stock color scheme.
