There's a new startup trying to change the way people shuttle between two major cities, and it's a combo between Uber and traditional taxi services.
OK, so Uber is a big thing now around the world, seen by many as a modern alternative to the good ol' taxi. Except in Paris, where it triggered a massive riot some weeks ago, or in China, where it faces a huge fine, but that's not the point here.
You are here because two entrepreneurs - father and son - built a startup called Tesloop, a company that drives passengers between LA and Las Vegas using Tesla's Model S all-electric sedan.
The two founders describe the Tesloop experience similar to an airline where passengers share a cabin. The shuttle service costs $85 so if you are looking to travel from LA to Las Vegas or vice-versa, this can be an option.
We must mention the business is now only two weeks old, but 40 clients have signed up already for Tesloop's services. Haydn Sonad, the young entrepreneur behind the company, hopes to make $2,000 a month by using a fleet of just one car, for now.
According to News3LV, Los Angles to Las Vegas is Tesloop's test market. But if we consider the continuously expanding Tesla Supercharger network in the US, it's clear to see why Haydn is looking to expands their routes from LA to San Diego and Las Vegas to Pheonix.
