With Tesla having dropped the design bomb via the Cybertruck this week (being the massive wedge era fan that I am, the pickup gets my approval), not that many aficionados think of the Tesla Roadster these days. However, the rendering I've brought along aims for the opposite, with this portraying a pumped-up incarnation of the electric supercar.
This pixel work takes the design of the Roadster, which was last showcased back in 2017, and dials things up a notch. And you should know this exercise follows the less is more philosophy.

Perhaps the most striking change comes from the windshield, which has now been chopped, thus demanding the "Speedster" label.

Then again, there are also parts of the car that have been expanded and I'm referring to the widebody kit here. This is the kind of OEM+ development, since it doesn't bring extra styling elements, boosting the production lines instead.

In fact, since the rendering at the bottom of the page places the this Freeflow Concept next to the original, it's not difficult to spot the differences between the two - pixel tip to digital label SPDesignest for this visual adventure.

Returning to the actual Tesla Roadster, Elon Musk last mentioned the machine on November 20 this year, when a fan turned to Twitter, asking the company to introduce a slot that would help the enthusiastic driver keep the key fob in place. And. as you'll notice in the Tweet below, the CEO's response was not unlike some of his previous statements: "Maybe won't need a key at all,"

The Tesla Roadster, which is supposed to hit 60 mph in as little as 1.9 seconds (for the top model) and start at $200,000, was planned to show up next year. However, with Musk having Tweeter that the next Model S will land in late 2020 and the Roadster will "come later", electric supercar fans might have some waiting to do.
