You're probably used to reading reviews written by people who possess a driver's license, who have tested hundreds of cars in their lifetime, who know a thing or two about what goes on under the hood and who can explain what understeer is without having to use their hands.
But have you ever wondered what a review by a nine-year-old would sound like? Probably not since you're well past that age, but this is something I've never really thought about: if I were nine right now, would I be interested in hearing what somebody who could be my dad's friend - and is as boring as he is - has to say about it, or would I instead be more inclined to listen to what somebody my age thinks?

Sure, reviews are targeted at adults for a reason: they're the ones with the money to buy the cars, but we all know the crazy things parents do for their kids. Why should deciding on a new car based on what the little ones think not be one of them?

Besides, it's not like Benicio Warren hasn't seen his fair share of cars already, despite being just nine. Since he is the son of Tamara Warren, transportation editor at The Verge and the publication's designated reviewer, he's probably already been inside more cars than most adults.

Even so, he's definitely never seen any that you get inside of through such a weird door like the one on the Tesla Model X. That explains why the Falcon Doors are Benicio's favorite feature of the electric SUV which he describes in great detail.

You'll get no points for figuring out what his second-favorite bit about the Model X is. That's right, the Ludicrous Mode. The Tesla representative showed the boys the vehicle's famous acceleration, but not before asking them to prop their heads in the seat so they don't get smacked.

"When you click on the selection, it will show you a kind of thing like hyperspace from Star Wars. Then when you drive, it will go a lot faster," Benicio writes. The SUV's acceleration and its quietness also got the kid a bit worried: "I would think twice before crossing the street if I saw a Tesla in the neighborhood."

Apart from these two things, Benicio talks a lot about the storage space, but he also touches on more technical things such as Autopilot ("[...] it will even take over the steering, but David told me you should still keep your hands on the wheel.") or charging, even though his description of the process would make Elon Musk blush ("If you Supercharge the car, it will be full in as fast as 20 minutes.")

Not sure if this is going to start a trend, but if you have kids and access to a lot of new cars, it might be worth trying. Just tell the junior to launch a blog and advertise it on Pokemon websites - or whatever it is kids like these days. Do write back to tell us if it worked.
