Driving an electric car doesn’t necessarily mean you’re restricted to the stock configuration. Tuners have been getting more and more involved in the EV segment and Larte Design seems to be the most recent name that decided to throw its name in the hat.
The USA and Russia might be close to declaring war on each other but that doesn’t mean that companies from the two countries can’t work together. This time, it’s Russian tuner Larte Design that is trying to bring a touch of exclusivity to the American Tesla Model S.

As far as straight up performance goes, you’ll have to look long and hard to find a better EV than the Model S. Get the P85D version and you’ll be shaming 707 HP Hellcats in no time, in a drag race that is. Therefore, a more aggressive look might not be a bad idea, even if this is a car for the eco-friendly guys that are not known especially for their adrenaline-infused lifestyles.

There’s no official info as to what parts will be changed but we could be safe to assume that the front and rear bumpers will be changed along with the side skirts and possibly the bonnet.

Inside the car, expect new materials to be used as well as quilted finishes on the door panels and the seats and a dash that will be covered in alcantara (that’s just a wild guess though).

As for performance enhancing kits, changes are harder to do on an electric vehicle. The thing is, unlike on conventional models, when changing the performance of an EV, it usually translates into a massive drop in range and that’s definitely not good when you have to spend at least 30 minutes on a Supercharger to be able to drive a couple hundred miles again.

Either way, we’re hoping to see some advancements in this regard as well as this could be another pointer showing that the EV way of life is getting closer to becoming the norm. In the meantime, expect the Larte Design Model S to be unveiled at the Top Marques Monaco event in April.
