Tesla Model S to Hit the Market in Q2 2012

Tesla is building its future step by step and one of the most important upcoming vehicles coming from the company is the Model S. The company is doing a pretty good build job, as it has already managed to convince 3,000 customers to pre-order the vehicle.

Now, it seems like the future premium eco buyers are one step closer to receiving their rides, as Automotive News reports that the four-door vehicle will reach its first owners in the second quarter of next year.

The vehicle will come with a price of between $49,000 and $60,000, with Tesla planning to bring 20,000 units of the car to the world each year.

• 3G wireless connectivity

"Tesla is relentlessly driving down the cost of electric vehicle technology, and this is just the first of many mainstream cars we're developing.”
