As you probably know already, Tesla has just released a new update to its OS 6 platform, which comes with a lot of interesting and useful new features, some being suggested by Model S owners.

One of the most useful things coming with v6.1 is Trip Energy Prediction, which helps you better anticipate your charging needs. The car’s system will calculate the projected energy remaining at your destination using your predicted speed, elevation and other factors along the route.

The next feature is the upgraded Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) which adjusts the speed based on the car in front of you to maintain a safe distance. The system also allows you to overtake other cars using the left-turn signal.

You also get a rear camera with active guidelines, auto high beam, forward collision warning, improved navigation, trip chart and a lot of other features you’ll see reviewed in the video bellow.
