When the Tesla Model S first came out, people just couldn't get enough of its sprinting abilities, with the EV becoming an instant drag strip hit. And the electron juice ball kept rolling as Tesla introduced new updates for the super-sedan. Nevertheless, the updates inevitably stopped, with many drag races simply getting bored of seeing the Model S duking it out with good old internal combustion machines.

And this is where the Tesla Model S P100D we're here to discuss steps in. Actually, we've featured this electric monster on multiple occasions, since the thing comes with a racecar take.
To be more precise, the Palo Alto machine has been put on a diet. The removal process included the seats (the driver now uses a racing seat), most of the cabin, the 12V battery (this was replaced with a lighter unit) and even the front anti-roll bar.
As a result of all that work, this Tesla we're talking about is now a full 250 lbs lighter than the stock car. And, to help the thing make the most out of its Ludicrous Plus launches, the car also packs custom wheels and tires.
