It was only last week when Elon Musk advised Tesla Model S owners not to tune-up their cars because that could damage the car’s fine-tuned technological balance along with Tesla Motors’ business. However, not everyone is looking to simply nod in agreement.
Meet RevoZport and their latest Tesla Model S tuning program called R-Zentric. Before making any other comments, we’ll just say that from what we’ve seen so far, RevoZport’s aero kit is the best-looking alternative but that doesn’t mean it is also good for the car. At least, that’s Tesla’s opinion.
Backseat passengers will have a new toy to keep them busy thanks to a rear entertainment console. They will also have the illusion of riding in a sports car after watching the front seats’ carbon fiber cover for the rest of the journey.
Leaving that aside and judging from an aesthetic point of view, the body kit is aggressive enough to make you look twice but also classy enough to keep your face safe from frowns and wrinkles. Of course, there will always be someone hard to please in terms of design but that’s another story not worth telling right now.
RevoZport is claiming that their tuning program is all about more cornering grip, not just giving the Model S an extra dose of charisma. For that, the new aero kit comes with a 40 mm wider track, which means new wheels had to be installed on the electric sedan.
The solution came as a set of ultra-light Klassen ID forged rims, measuring 22x9.5 inches at the front and 22x11 inches at the back. As good as they might go along with the new front splitter, the redesigned side skirts and the shy boot lid spoiler.
