The automotive industry goes hand in hand with the tuning movement but the latter saw a decline in recent times. However, there's a trend out there for customizing Tesla's Model S. And Larte Design are doing it right.
Lionel Richie owns a Tesla Model S, and guess what: he customized it. Even Brabus came up with a tuning pack for the Tesla Roadster, but that was ages ago. However, Elon Musk is against tuning-up when it comes to Tesla Motors products, but nobody seems to care about that.
Larte Design took the liberty of showing the Enigma styling package for the Tesla Model S at Top Marques in Monaco, right next to Toroidion's 1MW hypercar. One thing that could brighten Elon Musk's day is the news that Larte Design never touched the car's complex electric powertrain. All they did was design an aero body kit that changes the way you looked at the Model S until this moment.
You'll know what I'm trying to say once you take a look at the photo gallery and spot that aggressive front bumper framing the new venomous grille plus the usual beefy touches on the side skirts and rear diffuser.
Larte design claims all their new parts are made of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), the same material BMW started using on the i8, i3 and M3/M4's roof. Moreover, they even used exotic materials such as basalt fiber which should have plenty to say on the pack's price.
Speeking of which, there's no word on how much the Enigma aero kit will cost, but we're thinking maybe four or five figures.
