Tesla Model S Coupe Rendering by X-Tomi

Since it was introduced two years ago, the Tesla Model S has pushed the eco-friendly motoring game to new standards. Despite moving more and more units of the luxury liftback sedan from one month to the next, Tesla's lineup is missing one very important offering: a two-door version of the Model S, to be precise.

Hence, the talented Hungarian behind X-Tomi Design came up with a two-door rendering of the pure-electric drive machine and it looks as cool as a Model S can get. Mind you, Newport Convertible Engineering has beaten X-Tomi to it with the recent introduction of coupe and convertible conversions of the electric vehicle.

But the Hungarian's design is both more elegant and sportier looking than what NCE offers for anything between $25,000 and $45,000 on top of the price of a Tesla Model S. Compared to the standard car, X-Tomi's rendering has slightly elongated doors, chrome detailing here and there, two extra vents that give the front fascia a far more aggresive visual identity, black rims and cross-drilled brake discs with red calipers.

Even though Elon Musk or insiders haven't ever mentioned about the possibility of a two-door Tesla Model S to be launched in the near future, we think that such an offering would've been a great addition to the Tesla lineup. At least until the outlandish all-wheel drive Model X crossover will start production at the beginning of 2015.
