Despite being out for over a month (or over a year and a half, depending on how you look at it), the Tesla Model 3 is still pretty much a mystery.
Some deliveries have already been made, but we're talking in the low hundreds. Just this week Tesla released its figures for the third quarter, and they showed 260 Model 3s produced and 220 having already reached their new owners. All of which are Tesla employees or insiders and most of which are bound by contract not to divulge too many details about the vehicle.

That's because the new electric sedan is still in sort of a beta testing phase, with the company using this technique of handing over the first units to its employees to iron out any remaining issues that might have been overlooked by initial testing.

However, some of the lucky owners have already taken their 3s to a detailing shop, and the guys there just happened to have a YouTube channel. And if they didn't, they might as well have created one specifically for this occasion because the world desperately wants to find out more about the Model 3.

Joseph Torbati has made a few other videos already detailing the infotainment system and other features of Tesla's latest EV, but this time he focuses on the seats. To make things interesting, he takes advantage of having a few other Teslas lying around, so he turns this short clip into a comparison.

Since it's the smallest, the Model 3 is expected to have the tiniest room inside, but that proves not to be the case. Joe said in a previous video that he's six-foot tall (around 180 cm), which means he's probably above average in most countries. Even so, he should expect to fit with no problems behind the wheel of any modern car, and the Model 3 makes no exception.

However, a tall driver usually means no leg room for the person sitting directly behind them. The extended wheelbase layout specific to EVs allows the Model 3 to prove that wrong with Joe able to fit in the back almost comfortably. And because of the glass roof, headroom is actually better than in the Model S where a beam cuts it short. Other than that, the larger S wins in every aspect.

But it's the Model X that provides the biggest surprise, with the Falcon Wing doors opening up to reveal quite a cramped backseat. The electric SUV does come with several seat configurations - this one having a third row as well - so you can have more room in the rear, but you'll have to sacrifice other things.

The bottom line is the Model 3 will be able to take five adults with ease even if some of them are over six-feet tall, though that situation might require a few specific seating arrangements.
