Now here's something that will surely help Elon Musk sleep a little better tonight: a fan-made video showing the current and most likely future state of the EV industry in the most graphical way possible.
It's funny how carried away some fans can get with their preferred brands or teams, and no other car company has generated more fanatical followers than Tesla Motors. We used to think that rivalries more fierce than the one between Mercedes-Benz vs. BMW couldn't exist, but leave to a company from California to change all that. The only difference is that Tesla isn't going against one particular brand, but apparently all of them.

Audi, Porsche, and Lexus (a strange choice, to say the least) are on the Moon surface planting the USA flag (an even stranger choice since none of them is a US car maker), when their little party gets interrupted. An alien monster jumps out of a lair just behind them, and its intentions are anything but friendly. In case there was any doubt, this one's Tesla's avatar.

Audi is the first to get it, but its fate is pretty kind compared to what is in store for the other two: it gets squished by the huge fist of the alien monster. Lexus, with its famous lack of speed, falls behind the fleeing Porsche and is caught by the enraged creature, which not only smashes it into the ground but also appears to bite its head off before spitting it into oblivion.

Porsche continues to make a run for it, but in true Hollywood fashion, the beast has saved the best for last. The Porsche man gets picked up, smashed between the monster's hand and its fist, and then slammed to the ground in a clear display of overkill. With the small party of carmakers annihilated, Tesla seems happy to return to its lair.

Only there's one more competitor who is cowardly hiding behind a rock. It's the newly created firm Faraday Future that hasn't come out to play yet, but has been making very bold claims. It makes such a claim in this video as well, one that gives its position away. The end is left to our imagination, but after everything that went on, there is only one option, really.
