"Terminator Salvation" New Trailer Released

There are still two months until "Terminator Salvation" hits the screens but a new trailer has just been released, jalopnik.com has found out.

As expected, the trailer reveals more about the plot and about the machines that will star in the movie (including Terminator motorcycles, better known as Moto-Terminators).

The action is set in 2018, the year when adult John Conner (played by Christian Bale) has to lead humans in the war against machines controlled by the artificial intelligence program known as Skynet, which creates human-like terminators which might easily be mistaken for real humans. Skynet's evil doesn't stop here as the company also kidnaps people.

However, the Moto-Terminators were those which really caught our interest in this trailer. They are remote-controlled motorcycles dispatched by Skynet to destroy humans.  The motorbikes do seem like scary “terminators” already but as we have already told you, we don't really understand the director's idea of using motorbikes as killing machines.

As for the robots in "Terminator Salvation", the director claims he “wanted real robots for the actors to interface with so you could get that grittiness and realism. There's an archetype shape to the T-800. We needed body types to suggest the robot that would combat John Connor, and Roland Kickinger is a good body type. His shoulders are huge, his waist is narrow. The [Industrial Light & Magic] guys used their calipers to measure shoulder spatial differences and said he'd make a good body double. Roland as an individual is not in the movie."

The movie will be released on May 21st, but until then, you can take a look at its new trailer and tell us what's your opinion about the whole story.
