Tell Everyone Who You Are on a Bicycle Frame!

Bicycles are becoming an ever greater necessity in crowded cities with little or no parking spaces. Problem is, with an estimated 4 million in a big city like Paris alone, how do you make yours stand out?! A French designer, called Jury Zaech, thinks she’s found the answer.

The idea she had was to create the frame in the shape of the owner’s name. Sure, people you don’t like might call out your name on the street, but at least if it gets stolen you can easily identify it if you have a rare name.

This concept seems to be done in Photoshop, in a style that resembles some sort of shiny liquorish stick. For what we know, the idea has not yet left the drawing board, since there are a lot of technicals to take care of before someone puts this into production. Jury even took the time to create a bicycle for couples, with two seats in line, one in front of the other.

The design might seem far-fetched but we expect someone will latch onto the idea and make one for themselves, as a bike like this will turn a lot of heads and bring with it the attention of the media. This is truly an idea for the modern age, a time when we write whatever we like on T-shirts and stay connected with thousands of friends via Facebook. Thus, people feel that their inner value is determined by the amount of attention they receive, by having as bold a personality as possible. We don't think you can get much bolder than this!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
