Everybody was shuttered last year, after both Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker and former racing driver Roger Rodas lost their lives in the fiery crash. Walker’s long-time friend was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident when the high-powered sports car spun out of control while driving around a corner, crashing into a concrete light polo and several trees before going up in flames.

But things got even worse hours after, when two young men were caught on camera picking off parts of the wreckage of the Porsche Carrera GT, which was sitting in the back of the tow truck removing it from the scene in Santa Clarita, California. The truck stopped at a set of traffic lights, when 18-year old Jameson Witty and his 25-year old accomplice picked off a panel from the T-top of the Porsche. Witty even put images of his “capture” on Instagram a couple of days later.

According to Daily Mail, the truck driver went at the closest police section to tell the cops. His statement read:”At one point the driver of the tow truck stopped at the red light E/B Newhall Ranch Road at McBean Parkway. A witness saw a male exit a vehicle that was following the tow truck. The male grabbed a piece of the wrecked Porsche off the tow truck bed. The male drove away with the stolen vehicle part.

TMZ managed to obtain footage of the robbery filmed buy a witness who was passing by when the incident happened. According to the source, prosecutors used the video to charge the two men with three crimes. Witty and his fellow copped a plea, and Thursday was judgment day for him. While Witty was sentenced to six months of jail, the other guy’s trial will end in October.
