TechArt Will Sell You This Modded Porsche 911 Cabrio for a Mere €194,000

You don’t have to be a Porsche aficionado in order to appreciate what German tuner TechArt has done for this 911 (992) Carrera S Convertible. They’ve taken an already spectacular driving machine and added an aggressive-looking aero kit, more power, a bunch of custom bits for the interior, new wheels, and then brought the whole thing closer to the road for more of a wow-factor.

As luck would have it, the car happens to be for sale in Germany, and the price is €193,900, which converts to about $236,000. Technically, that’s more than what it would cost you to buy a brand new 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, priced from $216,300 in the U.S.

TechArt will justify the hefty price tag by pointing out that this car, which has already done 1,000 km (620 miles), has a massive options list to go with all the custom equipment.

Here’s what you get: deep black metallic exterior with a black top, black leather interior, 8-speed PDK, sport exhaust system, power steering plus, 90-liter (23.7 gallon) fuel tank, and PASM sport suspension. Ready for more? Matrix LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, Lane Assist with Traffic Sign Recognition, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, the Light Design Package, Memory Package (for the seats, which are heated and ventilated), the GT sports steering wheel, plus a Bose surround sound system.

On top of all that, the tuner added a custom front spoiler, air frames, outlet grilles, side skirts, diffuser add-on, rear apron aero wings, that large rear spoiler, and Formula V forged wheels, measuring 20 x 9 inches at the front and 21 x 11.5 at the rear.

As for the interior, there's a new steering wheel with carbon fiber upper and lower sections, carbon glossy door sills, custom pedal kit, red contrast stitching, plus additional carbon fiber trim on the dashboard and center console.

In terms of performance, a stock 911 Carrera S Cabriolet will send 443 hp (450 PS) and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque to its rear wheels, which will get you from zero to 60 mph (96 kph) in 3.7 seconds, as long as you also opt for the PDK gearbox. This one, however, has 503 hp (510 PS) and 450 lb-ft (610 Nm) of torque, so we can only assume that it’s even faster off the line.
