Techart Renders Its 2012 Porsche 911 Project for Next Geneva Show

The internet is bucking under the pressure of tuned car that are coming to this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show. But we can’t help feeling a little sad for the guys that would have loved to play with the new 911. Fear not, their time will come, but in the meantime, one company has taken the mouse and keyboard in hand and rendered what they had in mind for the sportscar.

We’re not accustomed to the new body of the car, but it looks like the bumper has been heavily modified and extended, as the line of the bonnet and headlights have changed. The strange thing is that the new air intakes incorporate the 911’s daytime LED’s at the top.

Thechart’s 911 will also feature custom color or a carbon fiber finish, plus a set of light alloy forged wheels, that are 20 or 21-inch in diameter with five twin-spokes. The ones in the picture have a black finish with a red stripe on the lip.

Look for this project to arrive at next year’s Geneva Motor Show, where a power boost will also come into play.
