Techart Launches Porsche 911 GT3/GT3 RS Noselift

The German tuners at Techart are playing plastic surgeons lately, as they recently launched a Noselift system for the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS of the model year 2010, contributing to the car’s capability of dealing with parking garages, ramps, speed humps and curbs.

According to the renown tuning company, the noselift system allows for 60 mm of additional ground clearance at the front spoiler, provided with the push of a button to prevent grounding through hydraulic ride-height control at the front axle.

By pushing the button in the interior of the vehicle the driver is activating the system at standstill or while driving - with an automatic lowering at over 37 mph. The hydraulic TECHART Noselift system is praised to have a rapid height adjustment of 10 mm/s, highest technical reliability, trouble-free backfitting, perfect vehicle integration as well as a TÜV certification.

The noselift system launch comes after Techart brought the GTStreet R tuning program based on the Porsche 911 Turbo, at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show in March. The package raises the power of the standard model from 500 to 660 hp and a maximum torque of 860 Nm.

The company’s sport clutch and modifications to the transmission ratio of the standard 6-speed gearbox results in the GTStreet R's sprint performance of 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The permanent dynamic propulsion only reaches its limit at 345 km/h.

Rounding off the GTStreet R package are the Techart Formula 5-spoke light alloy wheels in dimensions of 19" and 20" that can be shoed with either Conti Sport Contact 3 or Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Plus tires.
