TechArt Cayenne Diesel Tuning Package

The paint hasn’t dried yet on the newly-launched Porsche Cayenne Diesel and tuning companies rush to launch their first aftermarket packages for this particular model. Tuning firm TechArt today announced it will display the so-called Aerokit I package at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. In short terms, the package is especially aimed at the Cayenne diesel appearance, attempting to make the SUV look more aggressive yet sportier than the base variant.

Unfortunately for Porsche fans who hoped to get even more power from the Cayenne Diesel, they won’t, as the TechArt tuning program is particularly based on exterior and interior modifications, with no engine performance boost included. According to a press statement issued by the tuning firm, the entirekit is “made exclusively from high quality polyurethane RIM.”

To be more specific, Aerokit I brings several exterior styling upgrades, such as the new front spoiler with integrated headlight unit plus aerodynamic side sills, new rear apron and roof spoiler. Interiors have been improved with only minor features, such as the aluminum pedals and the new sport steering-wheel.

There are no pricing details at this point but more details are expected to be announced next week at Geneva. Here are the components of the Aerokit I package, as provided by TechArt:

  • TECHART Front spoiler I with headlight unit
  • TECHART Sill panels
  • TECHART Rear apron with integrated diffuser
  • TECHART Headlight trims
  • TECHART Tail lamp trims
