If you’re not after pure power and want a four-door coupe, you could do worse than the Panamera Diesel, which copes well with short bursts of overtaking thanks to its 3.0-liter V6 that develops 250 hp (184 kW) between 3,800 rpm and 4,400 rpm. The maximum torque of 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) is available all the way from 1,750 rpm to 2,750 rpm.
Now Porsche tuning specialist Techart has found a way to boost the diesel V6 all the way to 280 horsepower and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft)of torque.

The result is a car that will now reach 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds instead of 6.8 seconds that the normal Panamera Diesel gets.

“Our new powerkit TA 070/D1 increases the overall performance of the Panamera Diesel by pushing the Sport button at the center console. Already the TECHART power enhancements for the Cayenne and Panamera Turbo models are based on this innovative technology and they are highly popular among our customers. Also the Panamera Diesel driver is now able to enjoy an amazing power boost,” says TECHART CEO Thomas Behringer.
