The first in a series of five teaser clips released by Ford hinted the Blue Oval will unveil a performance-oriented car. Two other vids followed, offering a lot of small details about what’s it going to be. However, the fourth clip confirms it at the 56-second mark.
Just like we previously suspected from spy photos of a heavily camouflaged and super aggressively-styled Ford Mustang, the vehicle that’ll be unveiled on Monday is none other than the much-talked-about 2016 Shelby GT350. And good golly this pony is going to be a properly wild and exciting ride.

We previously found out that the GT350 will be offered with a puckered up Coyote V8. Compared to the 5-liter 435 HP and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque the normal mill produces on the GT-spec Mustang, the GT350 will employ a bigger, 5.2 variant of the naturally aspirated eight-cylinder powerhouse.

Too bad the engine bay of the Shelby-fied muscle car will feature a black piece of plastic with “carbon-fiber” written on it. Still, that’s a small kitsch to pay for what else is in store for you. We also found out that the 2015 Camaro Z/28-rivaling Shelby GT350 will be available in fastback and convertible formats.

With output figures expected to surpass 500 HP and 450 lb-ft (610 Nm), this upcoming racing-inspired Mustang variant is going to be a real treat to drive. There’s flared wheel arches, a lot of vents all over the place, a rear aerodynamic diffuser made from carbon fiber and, the biggest new piece of news, a wider front track. Yep, this bad boy rear-wheel drive bruiser is what muscle car dreams are really made of.
