Do you guys remember how the bosses of Tata Motors believed they could sell the Nano in Europe? That really hasn't happened, and that's because their car doesn't have a lot of things we take for granted.
We're not just talking about lots of airbags and air condition. For instance, did you know the rear cargo area of the car doesn't actually have a hatch? Yes, the rear of the car is welded shut for cost reasons, and to put stuff in the back, you have to fold the rear seats. That's like opening a window to get inside your house.

An updated version of the Nano is coming to India, and it will have an openable rear hatch for the first time. It will also gain a new diesel engine, increasingly more popular in India. Minor cosmetic changes will be made to the front and rear bumpers.

Th Nano was launched in India back in 2008 and it's amazing to think it took them six years to put a rear hatch on the car.
