Rockstar Energy Drink driver and Top Gear co-host Tanner Foust has confirmed he will be competing in this year’s Global Rallycross Championship, as well as select events in the new FIA World Rallycross Championship.
Foust will campaign for the new Andretti Volkswagen team in 2014 and will begin by racing in a Polo. Later in the year, Foust will receive a brand new Volkswagen Beetle with 560 horsepower at its disposal. Foust will be joined by Scott Speed in the Global Rallycross Championship.

"My competition focus for the 2014 season is Global Rallycross. I’m looking forward to being able to run some international races in the new FIA World Rallycross Championship this year,” said Foust.

"Every season, the sport of rallycross steps up its game - in the United States and in Europe - and this year is going to be the most competitive yet. It's been amazing to be part of rallycross as it has grown over the past few years and I can't wait to get back out there and race in 2014,” he added.
