Back in July, when the Blue Oval finally revealed the official looks of the 2021 Bronco, the overwhelming demand for First Edition versions of the 2-Door and 4-Door triggered an uptick in production. Because reservations closed very quickly, the model has been traveling under the radar ever since.
With a few notable exceptions, of course. First and foremost, when Ford revealed the most exclusive Bronco of them all, the company also announced that early adopters would get very few options to play with. Then, it decided to spice up the configuration process by adding a new exterior color - Lightning Blue.
Very little has been discussed about the Bronco First Edition ever since. That's not to say the exclusive model is being neglected, because when it comes to the 2021 Bronco nothing really escapes the watch of the fan community. But in between so many prototype sightings and other marketing activities, it’s easy to understand why the First Edition lives in the shadows.
It’s because the 2-Door and 4-Door are both fully booked. It doesn’t matter anymore if anyone else has $57,410 or $61,605, respectively. Until the first units of the First Edition hit the market, there isn’t much anyone can do if they’re not among the lucky reservation holders.
Well, there’s always the power of judgment. For example, The Bronco Nation recently outed a set of pictures with the Navy Pier interior of the Bronco First Edition – and we’re dealing with a real vehicle here, not the horrendous CGI depictions of Ford’s own Build & Price online configuration tool.
That means anyone – both reservation holders and everyone else – can share their thoughts (we’re waiting for yours in the comment section below) on whether this unique cabin trim befits the Bronco First Edition or not.
As far as we’re concerned, we think the Blue Oval team did a decent job, but that depends on the exterior color. As such, we snatched a few shots of the Bronco First Edition from the company’s B&P and you can check them out in the gallery above to try and decide which one is fitting and which one is off the mark.
