Tailor Made Ferrari 812 Superfast Shows Elegant Take on the Customization Genre

Although the Ferrari 812 Superfast front mid-engined RWD grand tourer isn’t exactly new anymore, the Maranello-based luxury sports car manufacturer knows very well how to spice up the relationship with its customers. And the Tailor Made division clearly acts as Cupid’s envoy on this occasion.

Ferrari’s 812 Superfast came into the world back in 2017 when the Geneva Motor Show was still very much a (real) automotive event, treading the tarmac as the successor of the storied F12 Berlinetta. It has written its own history chapters ever since, with the V12-toting supercar putting all of its 789 hp to great use.

Over time, spicing up the 812 Superfast has become a classic way of making a Ferrari even more exclusive. Whether it comes in the form of a simple alloy wheel add-on, a complete rework through an aftermarket specialist, or even a one-off project, it was always up to the owner of each example.

We have no idea who ordered this 812 Superfast that was recently modified by the Tailor Made division, but we dig the elegant combination of style and performance.

According to Ferrari, the exterior features a tailored (pun intended) combination between a “Verde Pino” shade and a gold-infused livery. Clearly, the latter is still very much in fashion even as we turn (with great hopes) towards a completely new year.

Moving on, the driver and passenger share the cabin seats (along with the view of a very long hood!) in an interesting combination of “Heritage Ghianda” leather and “Kvadrat Umami” fabric. The rest of the cockpit is equally bespoke, with the steering wheel, dashboard and bridge tunnel treated to an eclectic mix of black, Heritage Ghianda leather, and “Oro Lucido” details.

No word was shared on technical specifications of this Tailor Made 812 Superfast, so we can safely imagine the 6.5-liter direct-injection V12 remains in place with 789 hp and 530 lb-ft (718 Nm). That’s more than enough to hit 211 mph (340 kph) after surpassing the initial 62 mph (100 kph) threshold in just 2.9 seconds.
